From the experience gained in the 19th century by the family ancestors… the story continues and comes to life with grandmother Benigna who, as a young woman, is determined not to follow the country life lived with her parents but who soon, during the years of the Second World War, rediscovers her passion for nature and for growing vines.
It all begins with the management of the property’s ‘moggio’ where the grandmother keeps all the native ungrafted vines and many other varieties of fruit and vegetables… today company treasures. Paolo Sorrentino and his wife Angela inherit the family assets and with much love for the production of Vesuvian wines, for fruit and vegetable cultivation, they recover all the varieties preserved by their ancestors. They begin a path of expansion of the wine sector in the 90s and undertake wine tourism by opening the doors to tourists and wine lovers by allowing them to taste the history of the territory and its fruits.
