Fonzone Winery

Founded in 2005 by Prof. Lorenzo Fonzone, a renowned hand surgeon with a great passion for wine, the modern winery, almost entirely underground, stands on a hill of about thirty hectares in the countryside of Paternopoli, within the DOCG Taurasi, in the Campi Taurasini sub-zone.
From this privileged position, it dominates a breathtaking landscape characterized mainly by Aglianico vineyards that coexist with two hectares of Falaghina and two of Greco and Fiano. Here, the vines integrate harmoniously with fruit trees, woods and olive groves, creating an environment of extraordinary beauty and variety.

The Fonzone family has always dedicated itself to the creation of tailor-made wines, ambassadors of the Irpinia territory; a commitment that translates into rigorous attention to sustainability and respect for the environment throughout the production process, from the care of the vineyards to the work in the cellar.
Currently, thanks to the vision of Ria Stammelluti, Fonzone opens the doors of the cellar to offer a refined and engaging experience.
