Crypta Castagnara

The Spiniello Sergio farm – which markets its wines under the Crypta Castagnara cantine brand – was founded in 1997 by the owner of the same name and has been present on the market, with its products, since 1998. In fact, the Spiniello family has been producing grapes and wines for generations, but it is with Sergio that the business has grown considerably, through the purchase and grafting of new land: from the initial two hectares, it has come to include about 15, located between the territory of Grottolella and that of Altavilla Irpina, optimal sites for the production of quality wines.

Taking care of the company, together with Sergio, is Chiara: father and daughter, they carry on with pride and a sense of responsibility the tradition of winemakers that has distinguished the Spiniello family for generations.
In the cellar, guided tours with tastings in the vineyard and in the cellar are organized. Furthermore, from May to September it is possible to participate in vineyard picnics organised at the panoramic vineyard in Località Monte, Grottolella (AV). The structure is available for private events.
